On a more personal note – I consider myself to be a reformed “junk food junkie”. Not that I don’t still love the stuff, I have just learned to make healthier choices. I am a strong believer in food’s ability to impact health. This lesson was really driven home for me in 2008 when I developed an intolerance to gluten. I now eat a gluten-free diet based largely on brown rice, nuts, seeds, eggs, fruits, veggies and lean meats and low fat dairy (in limited amounts). It hasn’t been easy, but nothing worth doing ever is! I hope you enjoy my posts and will want to share your own tips too. Stay well! - Michelle
